I can't believe christmas is over already! Another year gone! We had a wonderful Christmas! My son opened one present and forgot he had more! I dont even know why I bought him more than one.
Now its time for Birthdays! He will be 2 in a few weeks and it seems like just a few months ago when he came into this world. His birthday is all about Cars cars cars! Cars everything :) exactly what he loves! We watch cars every day, at least once. I can't wait to share another birthday with the best little boy in this word.
Next Semester--------- Almost Done!
This next semester will be killer! I have a full schedule and long days ahead. I'm ready for it though, ready to be done and get into the real world! Start looking for work like every other American out there. Sometimes I feel like my world is on repeat so I'm hoping that this next year will bring something new! I'm applying for scholarships for next year so my GPA is super important. Its taking some work to apply but I can do it!
One of my new goals is to visit the temple once a month. I know thats only 12 times, but that is 11 more than this past year!

"What Women Want!" LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Its like "Hitch" all over again.... I used to watch Hitch EVERY day! Now its What Women Want :) I dont know why but It makes me smile every time. I'm such a girl..... :D we all have to have something right!

Finals Time!
Some of you are probably wondering how on earth I have time to blog when its finals. Well, I have 2 finals this week and 2 next week and I have NO cramming to do! I think this is one of the best semesters I've had in a very long time. I think its because I'm applying for scholarships. Maybe its because I'm older! Who knows! Talking about scholarships. Over the Christmas break I'm going to work on posting some scholarship information for single moms. I know that each college offers different scholarships so I'm going to get as much of that information posted as possible.
BLACK FRIDAY
This was the FIRST time in my life that I have ever been out on Black Friday. I guess thats what happens when you have a toddler to shop for! Wal-Mart was the only place we went.... all I can say is WOW! It was pretty crazy, some people were saying that this was the crowded they have ever seen a Wal-Mart on a Black Friday. The ONE year I decide to go right! Even though it was crowded beyond breathing, I got everything I wanted and more! It just took some jumping on piles and leaping over pallets. (ok, not reallllyyyyyyyy.... I was actually pretty decent ;) ) I've been shopping for Christmas since August so no rush! I have everything that a 2 year old could possibly want/need. I have a "Cars" fan this year! I never thought I would have a "Cars" fan! I was prepared for buzz and woody, I had actually planned on buying him a Buzz Lightyear, but no! He is all about the cars. We have to get our daily dose of the movie. (even on Sundays...shhhh dont tell!) Which so happens to be what's on the TV at this very moment!
THANKSGIVING
I know that everyone was posting on their facebook every day, what they were thankful for that day. I have to say for the whole month of November I was deeply grateful for being a mom to such an amazing boy. I would have posted every day but it probably would have said the same thing! He really is the BEST thing in my life and the best challenge I have ever had. The only thing I would change is I wish I was already done with college. College alone is a task..... add working a job AND raising an almost 2 year old... this equals VERY busy days. I'm almost done though!!! 2 more semesters and I graduate! YAY!
